Coffee in front of the keyboard.. lets type type type.. I mean try to unless I spill coffee all over the keyboard then holy crap looks like this blog isn’t going up anytime soon. lol
First up.. I wanted to say a big thank you to all of those who are reading our blogmas blogs and writing nice comments, it’s so nice to see those of you enjoying the christmas blogs and getting in the festive spirit to!
So I wanted to share with you guys today some of our favorite moments throughout this year.
Now I know that’s a pretty hard thing to think about as for me it’s been one of my hardest years, 6 months of both of our lives were spent apart and not to mention the fact my granddad passed away. But we can always find the goodness out of a hard situation can’t we.
So let’s start from the beginning of 2017.
Heading to the USA to spend 3 months with Trevor
A huge excitement getting to spend 90 days together, a lot of new and exciting things happened like I got to have my first try on a snowmobile, I also got to see some ice caves and actually dress from head to toe in a full winter outfit, not forgetting the amount of new food I ate. Within this time we got spent our first valentines day together and got engaged on top of my favorite mountain which was just the most magical and beautiful thing ever.
Getting An Approval on our visa
6 months of being apart and we finally got it through the post, the approval letter. I headed to London for a medical appointment and a week later I had an embassy interview where I finally got approved for the visa. October 2017 I headed out to be with Trevor.
Moving in to our new home
When I say everything happened at one.. everything happened at once. We are both more independent and I certainly feel like I’ve grown up a lot in the past month already. However I did nearly burn the kitchen down the other day but put a bag of cheese onto a hot stove, don’t judge I was trying to save some enchiladas at the time, but hey we learn from these mistakes and every day is a new day.
November 24th 2017 we got married. It was the best day ever and spent with an amazing family. We couldn’t have asked for more of a special day.
Let us know what your special moments have been this year, you can also let us know what Blogmas posts you would like to see this month in the comment box below or even send us an email. We love to hear from our readers!
See you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 6!
P.S. Can we all take into account I didn’t spill my coffee throughout the blog hehe. It’s the little things.
