How do you clean your makeup brushes? let me know in the comments below.
So many people have different ways and so many people use different products and techniques.
I believe there is no right or wrong way. Like make up.. you apply it the way you want and well if people don’t like that.. it’s okay because it’s not for them.
So here is how I clean my makeup brushes.
When I first started using makeup I researched how to clean the brushes, many ideas and techniques came up so I followed some different tips and did it the way I felt was best.
I use baby Johnson’s shampoo, soft for babies means soft for makeup brushes.
First up I use warm water to give them a rinse, get an excess makeup off before hand. I then apply a small amount of shampoo to the brush (a small amount goes a long way) lather it into the brush to make sure you reach all of the makeup that somehow manages to get stuck down at the bottom of the brush.
Once your brush is foamy and you feel it has had a good clean, rinse it under the warm water, get all the bubbles and foam out and this part I love most because you can feel just how soft the brush is.
I did some research into setting them to dry, I read somewhere that you should set your makeup brushes to dry with the head facing slightly angled downwards so that the water does not run back down the brush and rot the ends.
